Take your time to read this entry. Its kind of long. Yesterday was not another normal weekend for me. I went on a tour organised by my company. It was a trip to JB. The tour is called Durian & Shopping @ JB. Me and my working friends meet up for breakfast at Jurong Entertaiment Mcd. The pick up point was at J.E MRT station at the popular area. The bus came at 7.30 am. We then proceed to Kranji MRT to pick up the remaining of the people who lives near that area before going to the checkpoint at Woodlands. After clearing the two checkpoints, the first stop of the day was breakfast. We stop at a place called Taman Sentosa. Since we have already taken our's, we just hang around at this cafe call Old Town White Coffee, cause it a nice place to relax and its clean. Hahaha.... We just have some drinks. After that, we proceed to this factory called Pewter factory. Don't know what it is cause we did not go down to take a look as the place does'nt look exciting. But I know that I should just go and have a look but the seats were comfy and Im kind of tired and the air-con really makes it nice to just sit back and relax. Moving on, we then went to the main attraction that is the durian. Upon reaching, I thought it would be like a plantation but it turns out it just somewhere near the forest with opposite of it is a housing estate. It was dirty. We had a few durians and then went back to the bus. Next stop, shopping time. First we went to this local product shop where they sell basically local products before we went to Jusco. It was mad there. We split up into two groups cause one of the group wants to eat first then shop and the other prefer to shop first. I shall not go into details of the shopping cause basically you know how people shop. Chaotic. Lastly, its dinner time. We went to this grand restaurant, the name say's it all. It is called Grand Straits Garden. After dinner went back to Singapore and lucky us the was no jam. And that was my Saturday. And just in case, we took plenty of photos during the whole trip.
